As the Chief Executive Officer of Sanad, Troy Lambeth is responsible for the delivery of the company’s spare engine and component leasing strategies, while developing asset management solutions that enhance commercial performance and increase operating flexibility for clients. Under Troy’s leadership, Sanad has expanded quickly with a growing list of customers in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and North America. Prior to joining Sanad, Troy was a Senior Advisor at Mubadala Aerospace. Before Mubadala, Troy served in executive and senior management roles in private equity, GE Commercial Aviation Services (GECAS), and Mesa Airlines, in addition to working as a commercial pilot at Northwest Airlines. Troy started his career as an aviation officer and pilot in the U.S. Army, serving in leadership roles in flight operations, maintenance, and logistics in various global assignments.
Troy holds degrees in Mathematical Sciences and Systems Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point, and holds commercial and ATP pilot licenses for rotary wing and fixed wing aircraft.
Chief Operating Officer Scott Johnson applies his diverse industry experience to ensure portfolio management for Sanad’s clients and investors. Scott brings nearly 30 years of aviation sector experience specializing in Inventory Management programs, Reliability and Safety Management System program creation and execution, Maintenance and Engineering IT System Integration and Implementation, as well asFleet Management- Planning, Maintenance Programs, and Engineering. Scott holds a Business Administration degree from Bethel College, St. Paul, Minnesota.
Phil is the Chief Commercial Officer of Sanad, and is responsible for developing the company’s commercial strategy and for driving growth across the business.
Phil has an extensive aviation background that includes a broad spectrum of leadership roles in engineering, maintenance, business development, sales, and aviation financing. He served for 22 years in the Royal Air Force as an Engineering Officer. Prior to Joining Sanad, Phil was the Vice President of Sales at GE Capital Aviation Services.
Phil has a degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Hertfordshire and a Degree in Business Management from Henley Management College.
Vice President - Finance
As the Vice President of Finance, Raffi is responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company’s strategy and for the flow of financial information to the Chief Executive, the board and, where necessary, external parties.
Prior to joining Sanad, Raffi was an Assistant Manager at Ernst & Young leading audits in various industries as well as partaking in compliance assignments.
Raffi has an in-depth knowledge of IFRS and IAS, and holds a Degree in Economics from Concordia University in Canada.
Vice President - Asset Management
Steve is the Vice President of Asset Management and is responsible for the management of Sanad’s component and engine portfolio. This includes appraisal, valuation, inventory reconciliation and physical audit.
Steve has an extensive asset management background that includes a broad spectrum of leadership roles in financial services and equipment management. Following seven years in engineering, Steve worked at both Barclays and GE Capital in the UK holding senior leadership positions at both. Prior to joining Sanad, Steve was responsible for Asset Management in the Mubadala Development Company-GE Capital joint venture in the Middle East
