Mansoor is the Deputy Group CEO of Sanad. As a leading figure in the Aerospace sector, Mansoor is tasked with implementing Sanad’s mandate to foster Abu Dhabi’s long-term growth in the global aerospace and industrial sectors, as well as the delivery of the company’s industry-leading aircraft engine Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) solutions for the global aerospace and aviation industries.
Mansoor began his career with Mubadala in 2008 and steadily progressed through various positions leading key regional and global aerospace projects. He served as Vice President at Mubadala’s Aerospace, Renewables & ICT (AR&I) platform, where he played a pivotal role in finalizing agreements with Airbus and Boeing for developing aerospace manufacturing capabilities, including the Strata-Solvay Joint Venture. He was also instrumental in establishing the Aerospace Research and Innovation Center (ARIC) at the Khalifa University of Science and Technology Abu Dhabi and is also on the advisory board for the Global Aerospace Summit. Mansoor joined Sanad in 2017 and has since been involved in strengthening relationships with OEM’s and in building of the company’s MRO capabilities on the Trent 700, GEnx and LEAP engines. Through Mansoor’s leadership, Sanad Aerotech signed a landmark agreement with Rolls-Royce to become an Authorised Maintenance Centres (AMC) with an estimated value of USD 6.5bn, as well as another landmark agreement with GE Aviation (GE) to provide maintenance services to GE for the next-generation of narrow body and wide body aircraft with an estimated value of UAE 500 million. Mansoor also led the company’s efforts in closing deals with leading global airlines such as LATAM and Asiana.
Mansoor holds two degrees from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Daytona Beach — a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering, and a B.S. in Aviation Business Administration — in addition to a CFA level 1 qualification.
